As per the official figures issued by Dubai Land Department, the list of non Gulf area buyers for Dubai real estate investments was topped by Indian, British and Pakistani investors.
A total sum of Dh20 billion was invested by Indians during 2015, British investors poured in Dh10 billion securing the second spot and at the third place are Pakistani investors who invested Dh8 billion in Dubai real estate during the year 2015.
Investments from GCC nationals accounted for a total of Dh44 billion whereas the investments for local Emiratis reached up to Dh26.08 billion during the calendar year 2015.
According to data, a total sum of Dh135 billion (US$26 billion) was invested by 55,928 investors belonging to 150 different countries was invested in Dubai real estate market during 2015.
Dh9 billion was invested by wealthy Saudi nationals, whereas a total sum of Dh3 billion was invested by Kuwaiti nationals during the same period.
Arabs from outside GCC invested a sum of Dh16 billion in Dubai real estate market. Jordanians came at number one in this list by investing Dh3.5 billion.
Dh2.55 billion was invested by Egyptians and Lebanese stood at number three by investing Dh2.53 billion during the same time period. Remaining investments were made by investors from Iraq, Sudan, Yemen, Libya, Palestine, and Algeria.
According to Dubai Land Department, the diversity of investors in Dubai real estate market speaks volumes for its bright future and interested of international investors in this market.
Because of high return on investments, Dubai has high level of acceptance among international investors.
